   Was able to fix issue by reversing back to previous upload from 2023.

   I had a similar error upon trying using the v0.6.2 Jul 19 version. The error was:
   l4d2vr error failed to load module after retrying: client.dll

   Edit:
   Switching to the 2023 version does in fact fix it.

   This error is in the Steam version from February 6, 2025.
