Changing buttons on the Quest 3 in L4D2 in game Quest 3 controllers don't respond.

I've downloaded the quest three left two VR mod and it's worked really well but I don't seem to be able to remap the button so there's some issue with Quest 3 controllers not being connected to the game for remapping i'm just wondering if there's any way around this thanks. The reason being there is no button for zoom on the Quest controllers.
