I've been using VS Code for some time, and everything works well when I follow the steps to enable Neon Dreams. However, I recently started using the Google editor Antigravity and installed the Synthwave extension. However, I couldn't find the Neon Dreams option when I searched for it.
Is there any workaround to enable this feature on this editor? Are there any options to enable the effect manually?
Are there any updates regarding this? I see tha the official Synthwave extension still does not offer to Enable Neon Dreams, however a fork of this extension mixed with another extension does seem to have the enable neon dreams available. That extension is called Synthwave Fluoromachine (Cursor/VS Code) however I would prefer to use the original Synthwave.
@OdalVervloesem looks clever, but how to find custom css and js extension? antigravity points to open vsx marketplace, there´s around internet for grab?
@VanderSP not at my pc right now but you can change the marketplace back to the regular one via the settings for Antigravity. IIRC it's in Editor Settings. You'll have to google the URL though, I can't provide it atm.
Mind you, the glow effect is a bit less using this workaround. You also can't edit it in settings.json. But it's better than nothing imo.

Hey there hope you're well 💕 there isn't a fix for this yet as far as i know but i found an easy workaround that worked for me. The issue is mainly that google only saved the styles from synthwave, not with the prompt commands, soo this is what i did to make it work (since it's a bundled version, not the full extension)
Look for the synthwave theme extension and click on the Disable button, this is to avoid any issue when installing the actual extension
Go to Open VSX, search for the extension published by Robb Owen and click on the Download button to get the .vsix file. Here's the url for the extension just in case https://open-vsx.org/extension/RobbOwen/synthwave-vscode. You guys should have now a file called like RobbOwen.synthwave-vscode-0.1.20.vsix in your pc
Open Antigravity's command palette and look for the option of Install from VSIX and click on it
Look for the file you just downloaded from Open VSX and select in your file manager. Now the extension in Antigravity should have extra info like the Installation and Marketplace info
Re-enable the extension. You show now have the Enable Neon Dreams command in your command palette!
Set the extension as your color theme and then simply enable the neon dreams with the command from the command palette. Restart Antigravity and you should be ready to go!
You will still have the same vscode error that says something like the installation is corrupted tho, but at the least the theme will be working as expected ✨
Let me know if you have any issues when doing this
I am using CachyOS and I didn't work for me. I asked Gemini to install it and make sure glowing effect works. I works now :)

If you still have Custom CSS and JS loader installed, you can add this to your settings.json:
"vscode_custom_css.imports" :[
"file:///[PATH TO SYNTHWAVE EXTENSION]/synthwave84.css"
]
Reload Custom CSS and JS Loader after adding this and you're good to go.
