This has been bouncing out of the merge queue since 10-10 09:16Z, and it isn't this PR's fault. govulncheck fails on every new CI run: the merge-group runs from 10-10 09:16 through 10-11 09:17, and #931's PR run. CI pins go-version: "1.26.6" (ci.yml, 7 places) and go 1.26.6 in go.mod. govulncheck now reports net/http stdlib vulnerabilities fixed in go1.26.9 (GO-2026-6617, -6613, -6612, -6611, -6610, -6608 and others, Found in: net/http@go1.26.6, Fixed in: net/http@go1.26.9; run 38127820735). It's the same situation as #867, which #868 fixed by bumping the pin. A 1.26.9 bump would unblock this and the other open Renovate PRs.
