An offline-first Android app for learning p5.js through small coding exercises. Built with React Native (Expo SDK 55) and a CodeMirror 6 editor with a live p5.js sketch preview inside an embedded WebView.
A GSoC 2026 project for the Processing Foundation.
Each exercise presents a small p5.js task with a live canvas preview. The editor provides syntax highlighting, p5.js-aware autocomplete, and a context-aware programming keyboard. Exercises are validated against the p5.js reference and unlock sequentially. It is not a replacement for the p5.js web editor.
Anyone who wants to learn p5.js at a relaxed pace, on the go, without a network connection.
