Skype status changes to "away" even when it's set to never go automatically to away

even if this is set to off, it still goes after some time to AWAY, and I need to remain always ONLINE.
Running on ubuntu headless server with fluxbox... is there a clean solution please, or should I create some cron script to change the status every hour to online?
(Restarting the server or skype everything already tried)
