A desktop assistant for Accela Solutions Engineers. It runs on your own Claude Code login, works from the Accela product corpus instead of from memory, and tells you the difference between something it verified and something it's guessing at.
Built for the technical win: demos that argue a point, discovery that surfaces the questions the AE won't ask, solution designs with the gaps named, and RFP answers that survive implementation.
It won't bluff about the product. Every product claim comes back tagged:
| Tag | Means |
|---|---|
[Verified: <file or URL>] |
It read the source. The source is named. |
[Unverified] |
Plausible, not confirmed — with how to confirm it. |
[Unknown] |
It doesn't know. This is a valid answer here. |
[Not supported] |
Confirmed absent. |
Every "can Accela do X?" resolves to an effort bucket, because the gap between these is where SEs get burned in front of a customer:
out of the box · configuration · scripted (EMSE) · integration · custom services · not supported
It flags what you shouldn't say out loud yet. When something unverified is headed into a room, you get a warning before the answer, not buried under it.
You don't have to know what to type. The home screen has starting points — Can Accela do this? · Design a demo · Build discovery questions · Work an RFP · Research an agency · Pressure-test me. Pick one and it writes the prompt for you, with blanks to fill in. It never sends anything until you press enter.
If you're new to working with AI, leave Guidance on Guided during setup. Every answer ends with a few specific next moves you can send back as-is. It changes how much the assistant explains itself — it never makes the answers less technical.
Grab the latest installer from Releases:
.dmg or .zip for macOS, .exe for Windows. Builds are currently unsigned, so on first
launch macOS will ask you to confirm (right-click → Open).
One requirement: Claude Code installed, and claude
run once in a terminal to sign in. The app checks for this and walks you through it.
The assistant is only as good as what it can cite. On first run it looks for your synced
Sales Workspace and reports what it found. If it comes up empty, set the folder in
Settings → Sources — otherwise nearly every product claim comes back [Unverified].
bun install
bun run devSee CLAUDE.md for architecture, fork discipline, and release process.
This is a fork of nicoaccela/saleschatbot (the sales-facing app). The chat shell is shared; the doctrine, grounding, Plays, and skill pack are SE-specific.
This repo is the app shell only. The Accela skill pack and product corpus are
proprietary and are distributed separately — skills/ is gitignored and
scripts/preflight.mjs blocks a release that would leak them.
