Use LeaderAndIsr v2, UpdateMetadata v5 and StopReplica v1 only in bridge mode. Recheck activation after queue waits and preserve admitted callbacks. Reject unsupported IBP and quorum modes. Add a separate default-off cleanup gate for topic-name reuse and the first full metadata image of a new controller epoch. In bridge mode, wait for offline-replica deletion acknowledgements. Keep native behavior unchanged when the relevant gate is off.

Add the dormant 3.0 protocol bridge with common v2/v5/v1 control versions. Reject old IBP and KRaft roles. Recheck activation after queue waits, retain admitted callbacks, and wait for offline-replica deletion acknowledgements. Add the separate default-off deletion-state/cache recovery flag. The wire fixtures are in the preceding PR; the final stray-log repair follows this PR.
Verification and release boundary
The latest clean-source mixed migration and process-evidence audit pass locally. The current wrapper suite passes 132 tests, with unchanged Kafka dependencies before and after the run. The reorganized Python suite passes 65 tests. These results apply to the complete candidate stack, not every intermediate commit. Focused tests are included with the relevant layers.
The final requirement audit and remote CI review remain open. Published artifact qualification, live production state, the client/tool floor, the deployed ZooKeeper server, capacity limits and named security/release approvals remain release gates. Do not deploy an intermediate stack commit.
