Extracts saved snapshot comparison and capture for later engine wiring

Why

Prepares consistent trace updates from repeated snapshots

Test Plan

Passes all 501 existing tests
Preserves 22 function bodies from the tested candidate
Passes lint and type checks with reproducible build output
