Applied and Post-Quantum Cryptography
My current research focuses on the design of post-quantum cryptographic (PQC) constructions, with particular emphasis on distributed and threshold primitives. My recent work includes a distributed cloud KMS architecture based on threshold ML-KEM, accepted at the IEEE Symposium on Security and Privacy (S&P) 2027, as well as a full-threshold, NIST-compliant framework for ML-DSA (FIPS 204), published at IEEE S&P 2026. My broader research includes the design of round-optimal, post-quantum-secure aggregate signature schemes, with applications to cross-input signature aggregation (CISA) in Bitcoin.
In parallel with my current work, I am interested in privacy in AI systems, particularly the design and application of cryptographic techniques for privacy-preserving AI. Moreover, within the HomomorphicEncryp- tion.org standardization body, I contribute to the Security working group, focusing on parameter selection and security estimation for LWE-based schemes with sparse secret keys
