I help people ship real apps. I'm a full-stack engineer and developer educator, and at Kealy Studio I teach founders and builders to take a mobile app from an empty folder to the App Store and Google Play with Expo, React Native and Supabase. AI coding agents like Claude Code do the heavy lifting; I teach the decisions they can't make.
Before that I was a lead engineer and interim CTO at a startup, a contract engineer on remote teams, and a PhD researcher working on numerical weather models, which explains the weather repos below.
Here's what I'm up to:
Tutorials: 70+ videos on shipping mobile apps with Supabase, Expo, FlutterFlow and AI coding agents, with 380K+ views on YouTube. Good places to start: Sign-In With Google and Apple: Expo + Supabase Auth and How To Use Supabase Migrations for AI-Built Apps.
Kealy Studio: an interactive course and community that takes you from idea to both app stores, on a stack you own outright. There's a free ten-lesson course and prompt library to start with.
Mosayic: the guided app-development platform behind the course. Its VS Code extension (TypeScript, source on GitHub) connects the web dashboard to each learner's machine over a WebSocket, runs the gh, gcloud, expo and supabase commands for them, and streams the output back in real time.
Shipping: Tabby, a bill-splitting app I built and shipped to the App Store in a day on Expo + Supabase. Watch the build.
My day-to-day work happens across various GitHub organizations, so this personal profile has been quiet for a while. From the earlier days, I'm still proud of:
Windy Plugin Skew-T, Skew-T diagrams for windy.com, built in public on the Windy community forum. I was nominated as a core contributor to Windy.com, and the Python API behind the plugin lives in skewt-api.
Djengu, a Django + Vue.js starter with a production Docker and Caddy setup.
Vue-Auth JWT, JWT auth for Vue.js using httpOnly cookies.
Below are some of my favourite languages and tools:
Plus Claude Code and Codex, which do most of my typing these days.
