Customize Left-Sidebar #109

i'm struggling how to modify this sidebar, the default value of left-sidebar is
aside id="sidebar-left" class="large-4 medium-4 large-pull-8 medium-pull-8 columns" role="complementary"

but i want to change it to
modify it? how is it possible?
