Thank you for sharing your view with me. Please publish your statement on the PR so the feedback reaches Prasanth too, so he has an idea of what he needs to improve/complete in order to be accepted as a maintainer. |
I've already sent the messages to Prasanth via Slack DM. I did it in early Aug. |

Hi @reasonerjt @kofj @renmaosheng @wy65701436 @ywk253100 @hainingzhang @steven-zou @jMonsinjon @holyhope — I'd like to follow up on this, as I'm becoming concerned about the lack of engagement around the maintainer election process. I sent an email to the maintainers mailing list on July 10 regarding the next steps: So far, there hasn't been any response on the mailing list or in this thread. I would like to move the maintainer election process forward and ensure that Harbor's governance reflects the people who are actively contributing to and supporting the project today. Without maintainer participation, we're currently unable to move the election process forward, which means we can't onboard new maintainers or continue evolving the project's governance. I'd really appreciate it if the current maintainers could acknowledge the thread and let us know how you'd like to proceed, even if it's just to confirm you're still available to participate. CC @castrojo @caniszczyk from the CNCF in case we need help facilitating the discussion or identifying a path forward if the current process is blocked. It would be great if we could agree on the next steps over the coming days so we can keep the project moving forward. |
