Bump radiance to 8c9bd6e for the pion stack upgrade - #9219
Bump radiance from e106608 (Oct 22) to current main 8c9bd6e, primarily to ship the pion stack upgrade that radiance picked up via broflake ae5d221 and lantern-box v0.0.174:
The bump also carries radiance #706/#707: config fetches now advertise CapabilityUnboundedTuning (the server withholds Unbounded tuning options from clients that don't), and getlantern/common moves to 9182c99.
One source-level fix required: radiance #706 widened ipc.Client.AddPrivateServer with loc common.ServerLocation, joined bool. Both lantern call sites (lantern-core/private-server/server.go:229 and :366) now pass the zero values — exactly what radiance's own cmd/lantern does — so daemon behavior for private servers is unchanged (PrivateServerRequest.Location/.Joined marshal as zero values the handler treats like the old shape). Plumbing real locations through is #9210's job and can build on the new signature.
No IPC JSON shapes consumed by the Dart side change between the two radiance versions; lantern-box remains an indirect dep with no direct lantern imports.
Testing
CGO_ENABLED=1 go test -tags with_gvisor,with_quic,with_wireguard,with_utls,with_grpc ./...: all packages pass, including lantern-core/private-server.
go build with the same tags across the repo: clean. gofmt -l lantern-core: clean.
go mod tidy run after the bump; go.mod and go.sum committed together.
Not covered: no end-to-end Unbounded/pion session was exercised locally; that rides the next beta's smoke runs.
Risk
A broad transitive upgrade (pion majors stun/transport/turn) compiled into every platform binary — the riskiest part is runtime behavior changes inside broflake/lantern-box sessions, not this diff's code. The two call-site edits are mechanical zero-value pass-throughs.
How to revert
Revert the commit; no state or migrations to undo.
Exit: approve (high reasoning effort; the gate diffed old-vs-new radiance, lantern-box 0.0.169 vs 0.0.174, broflake, and getlantern/common in the module cache, and read the Dart private-server models to confirm no consumed JSON shape changed)
Step back: not needed
Fixed: none
Dismissed: none
Pre-existing (not introduced here, worth filing): lantern-core/private-server/server.go:366 — the manual-add completion event reports getGeoInfo(ip) while the daemon stores no location (the old API had no location field; CodeRabbit flagged it on this PR). Fix belongs to Private server fixes #9210's location plumbing.
Pulls in radiance #706/#707: broflake ae5d221 and lantern-box
v0.0.174, which upgrade the whole pion stack (webrtc 4.2.11->4.2.25,
ice 4.2.2->4.4.8, dtls 3.1.4->3.1.15, sctp 1.9.4->1.12.0, stun v3->v4,
transport v4->v5, turn v4->v5), and advertise UnboundedTuning on
config fetches.
radiance #706 widened ipc.Client.AddPrivateServer with a
ServerLocation and a joined flag; pass the zero values at both call
sites, as radiance's own cmd/lantern does, so behavior is unchanged
until #9210 plumbs real locations through.

🔵 Needs a closer look
The cross-platform transport upgrade warrants human sign-off because end-to-end Unbounded/Pion sessions remain untested despite reported build and unit-test success.

What changed in this PR
Updates Lantern’s Go networking core to radiance 8c9bd6e, bringing in the Pion stack upgrade and Unbounded tuning capability advertisement.
Changes:
Upgrades radiance, common, broflake, lantern-box, and Pion dependencies, including major-version changes for STUN, transport, and TURN.
Adapts both private-server call sites to the expanded API using zero-value location and join arguments; location handling remains deferred to #9210.
Updates dependency checksums alongside the module requirements.
File
Description
lantern-core/private-server/server.go
Supplies the new location and join arguments at both private-server call sites.
go.sum
Updates checksums for the upgraded dependency graph.
go.mod
Selects the new radiance and related networking dependency versions.
Store the geo location for manual adds, or stop reporting it in the completion event.
The manual-add path reports a location in the completion event, but it registers the server with an empty location. getGeoInfo(ip) returns a non-empty string on success. That string is copied into resp.Location and sent in the completion event. The call at line 366 passes C.ServerLocation{} to AddPrivateServer, so the server manager stores an empty Location. The event and the stored server disagree.
The parsed value at line 364 cannot supply the missing location. ParseLocation requires a lowercase slug at the start of its input. getGeoInfo output starts with a capitalized subdivision name, so the parse returns empty strings. The result is also discarded.
Pass a C.ServerLocation built from structured geo data. getGeoInfo currently returns only a formatted string, so it must return the country name, ISO code, and subdivision as separate values. Decide whether the subdivision maps to City. Until then, either pass the structured location or stop sending the location in the completion event.

Review comment at @lantern-core/private-server/server.go at line 366:
Update getGeoInfo to provide the country name, ISO code, and subdivision as
structured values, then use them to build the ServerLocation passed to
AddPrivateServer so the stored location matches the completion event; map the
subdivision to City only if that mapping is valid. Alternatively, stop including
the location in the completion event when it is not stored.

lantern-core/private-server/server.go:366, store the geo location for manual adds or stop reporting it in the completion event: Pre-existing, and intentionally not fixed in this bump. At the merge-base, AddPrivateServer had no location parameter at all, so the daemon has never stored a location for manually added servers while the completion event has always carried the getGeoInfo(ip) string — this PR passes the zero value precisely to preserve that behavior. The structured fix (geo lookup → ServerLocation, plus the ParseLocation regex problems with provider labels and hyphenated regions) is the scope of #9210, which can now build on the widened signature this bump brings in.
