Logging into a Google account gets blocked after 24 hours #368

you're the 2nd person out of everyone that had this happen since login was added over 1 year ago. most likely you've gone through the login too many times recently and will need to back off for a longer period.
Does it to me as well, started as soon as I did it for the first time
Hosting on my home PC. Running it as a Docker container in ZimaOS (CasaOS). Browser used was Safari, could always try Chrome in case that makes any difference. No recent logins to Google account. If it helps, I also had this exact same issue trying to use YT Vanced in 2021, couldn't get it working either
it seems you have to delete your login cookie from your browser and try it again
if you have a two-step authentication approve the login in your phone
I got this exact issue after last update. It got blocked after roughly 18 hours, two times in row.
Looks like confirming it is me on that alert would works. That is bit hidden on account management page. Gotta wait for hours to see whether this happens again or not.
And if this works, it means there is nothing wrong on YT2009. Google thought there was valid logon that looks like you won't do. Such like something happened you made login forgot you set VPN on your system, etc.
I think enough time passed to check, so if your account keep blocking, you have to confirm that was your activity on google account page. I had to click
secure accountthencancelfor it. I think there will be no consequence for it.
Whenever I do the method to log in (to sync subscriptions and playlists), the following morning I get the following email and notification on my Android:
Subject: "Critical security alert"
Body: "Google noticed unusual activity in your account. Review your account activity to make sure that no one else has access."
Even if I approve the "Unknown Device" via the notification, it still revokes access and I need to go through the setup process again, and by the morning the access gets revoked again
