My car: Skoda Enyaq 85 SW 6.0.0, same applies to my former Skoda Enyaq IV 80 SW 3.8
My wallbox: Elli Charger Pro (1st Gen.)
The wallbox Elli Charger Pro has a mA-interface, but converts internally to 1A steps.
Because of this is unexpected to evcc this leads frequently to unexpected 1A jumps and evcc overshoots the available surplus. I assume there is currently no way for the wallbox to tell evcc that it only supports 1A steps.
So I need the feature at the vehicle configuration. I know, it runs better with the coarsecurrent feature. I have used it in the past. (see below)
Describe the solution you'd like
Please add support for coarsecurrent (1A steps) to the vehicle template Škoda MyŠkoda (Public API).
Some templates already support this feature, but the majority doesn't. Probably it is a good idea to add it to all templates.
Describe alternatives you've considered
When I used my old vehicle config that supported coarsecurrent the charging with evcc worked much smoother.
Unfortunately that config is not supported by Skoda anymore:
vehicles:
- type: enyaq
title: Enyaq
icon: car
user: ***
password: ***
capacity: 80
name: ev3
phases: 3
cache: 15m
features: ["coarsecurrent"]
Additional context
The real root cause for that issue is in the wallbox. It would be also fine for me if the wallbox gets a 1A switch, but I assume at the vehicle it is easier to implement because the infrastructure is already there.
