feat(remoet): add Remoet integration - #1769
Conversation
Add a Remoet plugin. Remoet is an AI-agent-first tech job platform: track tech jobs from companies you love. Auth is an API key sent as a Bearer token (keys are created at https://remoet.dev/apps). Operations: - profile.get, profile.getLinks, profile.update - workExperience.list (employment history, not job postings) - projects.list, education.list - linkTrees.list, linkTrees.get - jobContext.get (match is null for untracked pages) - stars.create (write; stars are capped per user) Every endpoint validates input and output with zod. Errors carry Remoet's own message from the response body. A per-minute 429 is retried after the X-RateLimit-Reset delay; the daily cap 429 is not retried. No webhooks and no local entities. Closes corsairdev#300

Add the Remoet developer-key discovery routes: - jobs.search (GET /user/job-postings) - companies.search and companies.get (GET /user/companies[/:slug]) - starredJobs.list (GET /user/starred-jobs) - savedJobs.list, create, update and delete (/user/saved-jobs) - stars.delete (DELETE /user/stars/:companySlug) Inputs mirror Remoet's strict REST schemas and bounds, and every company slug uses the server's slug rule. List filters are sent as repeated keys, which Remoet reads for every list, including place names with commas. Saved-job rows may be locked (job null). Reads are read-risk, saved-job create and update are write-risk, and savedJobs.delete and stars.delete are destructive; stars.delete tells the agent to confirm first because unstars spend a budget that resets every 30 days.
Add the Remoet developer-key write and feed routes:
- workExperience.create, update and delete (/user/jobs[/:id])
- projects.create, update and delete (/user/projects[/:id])
- education.create, update and delete (/user/education[/:id])
- feed.list (GET /user/feed), paginated with pageSize and cursor
- profile.update, widened to name, avatarUrl, socials, summary and
visibility; every string field but visibility may be set to null to
clear it
Item writes add id to their read schemas. Each group's update input is
built from its create schema (create.partial().extend({ id })) plus one
shared refine, so the field lists cannot drift. Every input is strict and
an update requires at least one field besides id. Omitting a field leaves
it unchanged; setting an optional text field to '' clears it (Remoet
stores it as sent, so it is not trimmed) and technologies to [] empties
it; dates and booleans can only be replaced, never cleared. The three item
deletes and the existing savedJobs.delete are destructive and
irreversible, and their description tells the agent to confirm first.
Every remaining discovery input (jobs.search, companies.*,
starredJobs.list, savedJobs.*, stars.*) is now strict as well, matching
the server.

Generated with pnpm generate:docs -- --plugin=remoet: overview, api and database pages for the 29 operations, plus the Remoet group in the docs.json nav.
Item dates are now refused locally unless Date.parse reads them, as Remoet
does, so "not-a-date" fails before the request instead of coming back as a
400. plugin-docs.yaml sets the overview's read and write examples
(jobs.search and workExperience.create) with real arguments in place of the
generated {} calls, which fail validation.
- Input fields and the less obvious output fields carry zod .describe() text, replacing the JSDoc it duplicated, so agents and the generated API reference see it (savedJobId vs job id, comma semantics in searchQuery, the feed cursor, what '' and [] do on update, and so on). - jobs.search, companies.search and starredJobs.list send the parsed input as the query, and companies.get sends everything but the slug, so a filter added to a schema later cannot be validated and then silently dropped. - Endpoint descriptions state facts (permanent removal, the unstar budget, what visibility controls) instead of instructing the agent. - stars.create and stars.delete sit together in types.ts and index.ts. - plugin-docs.yaml sets apiExamples for the 18 operations with required input; docs/plugins/remoet is regenerated. - listingId is described as a linked company listing, not a job match. - Tests: remoetError moves into test-utils.ts. One endpoint-level table runs all 29 operations with an unknown key, checks each row is valid on its own and that no request is sent, and fails if an operation has no row; it replaces the per-file unknown-key tests. Item tests that the shared describe.each already covers are removed, and the 5001 character summary and the null social-link clears are asserted.

profile.update's fields and the saved-job note take null to clear a value, but .nullable() is unwrapped by Corsair's doc and agent schema rendering, so the API reference showed them as plain string, and savedJobs.update's required note as optional. They are now a union with z.null(), which renders as string | null with the right Required column. Runtime validation is unchanged.

The generated database page claimed local sync and pointed at corsair.remoet.db, but the plugin declares no entities. It now says so and points at the API operations.
CONTRIBUTING.md asks to avoid type assertions and to explain any that stay. The endpoint table now types the endpoints and schemas by annotation instead of as unknown as, splits the path with defaults, and throws on a missing endpoint instead of a non-null assertion; plugin.test.ts annotates its meta entries. Two assertions remain, each with a comment: the deliberate as never on the invalid input in the negative test, and the scaffold's default options object in remoet().
The plugin already notes why each unknown is used ("unknown is used here
because ..."); the later commits added some without that note. The test
inputs, the endpoint response type, the error body mock, the request
response and hasFieldBesidesId now carry one.
The endpoint table types each row by its operation's input schema, so a missing, extra or malformed row fails the typecheck (which replaces the runtime row-count test). The client test uses rejects matchers instead of catching into unknown, the error body mock has its real shape, and the item groups type their create input as the union of the three create inputs. unknown now appears only at the wire boundaries in the plugin, each with a comment.

@devjain32 Greptile is at 5/5 and the plugin PR gate, CI, CodeQL and CodeRabbit all pass, so this is ready for review. The only red check is Vercel, which needs a team member to authorize the fork deploy. Thanks! |

The search and job lists page with
pageandpageSize; the feed pages withpageSizeand the previous page'snextCursor; the profile lists return everything in one response.Profile item updates are partial: an omitted field is left as it is, an empty string clears an optional text field, and
technologies: []empties the list.nullis refused locally, because Remoet would read it as "unchanged". Deletes are markedirreversiblebecause Remoet removes the row outright.Errors: everything goes through
error-handlers.ts, and the thrown error carries Remoet's own message from the response body rather than the transport's generic status text. Remoet answers 429 for two different limits. The per-minute limit is retried after the delay inX-RateLimit-Reset, which can be up to 60 seconds. The daily cap is not retried, because it only clears on the next UTC day. 400, 401, 403, 404 and 409 are not retried. Not included: Remoet has no outbound webhooks, so the plugin declares none and defines no local entities. Job applications (list applications, apply to a job, application messages) from the issue's first-pass list are left out, as agreed in #300: Remoet's API-key REST surface does not expose them yet.
