usb_mode_switch don't works, but the command sudo modprobe 8821cu was enough to do it works, so my installation commands after download the patch:

cd Downloads
cd rtl8821CU
sudo ./clean
sudo ./dkms-remove.sh
sudo ./dkms-install.sh
sudo modprobe 8821cu
reboot
