- Undergrad at Utah Valley University studying bioinformatics
- studying phylogenomics and building tools to streamline genomics workflows.
Most of my projects are command-line tools — usually written in Rust — that take a slow or fiddly step in pipelines and make it fast, reproducible and easy to use.
- Research focus: phylogenomics, comparative genomics, and metagenomics
- I like building lightweight, dependable CLI tools for researchers
- Currently working on toolkits to make phylogenetic analysis less tedious
