Where can I get a Linux port, or can I recompile the code for Linux myself and create a fork?

There isn’t a Linux port available at the moment. The GPL licence the original ships with permits modifying and redistributing it, provided you follow its source-code and licensing requirements. You’re absolutely welcome to port the code yourself and create a fork based on the license in the project.

Just bear in mind that the project currently relies on several Windows-specific components, so it’ll need some actual porting work rather than simply recompiling for Linux.
