Jeff has his bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Colorado in Boulder, CO. He started working at NASA JPL in 2016 as a mechanical engineer, working on the head of the Mars 2020 Rover. Jeff has worked as a composer of music for movies and videos using his wide range of musical skills in guitar, singing, piano, horns, flutes, and drums. As a musician and artist, Jeff finds joy in discovering the subtle threads that link together science, art, and humanity. Jeff was drawn to Mind Makers because he believes that the surest way to bring lasting progress to the world is to enrich education and to mentor those who wish to learn. The youngest of three brothers, Jeff feels fortunate to have had two mentors his whole life, and strives to encourage others to reach their highest potential.
