The LMFDB root directory still contains the Inventory.md documentation file, which was last touched 8 years ago. As far as I can tell, this seems to describe infrastructure that I think no longer exists (and appears to be written for when the database was still using MongoDB?).
It does seem the inventory app was removed in PR #4804. To avoid confusion for developers new to the LMFDB, perhaps this file can either be removed, updated to document the new API with the PostgreSQL tables, or we could add a header to the file noting that this describes a purely historical feature and is no longer relevant ?
