Attachments doesn't seem to be working.

I'm calling this within the open_mail package: await OpenMail.composeNewEmailInSpecificMailApp(mailApp: chosen, emailContent: emailContent); where chosen is gmail and the emailContent contains:

I've tried this for both android (gmail) and ios (apple mail) and I couldn't get attachments to display. We were using flutter_email_sender before which worked fine with attachments but we want our users to have the opportunity to pick which email app they want to use. Do attachments work or am I completely off?

After analyzing the codebase, I've identified two critical issues preventing attachments from working in the composeNewEmailInSpecificMailApp function:

1. Android Implementation - Complete Attachment Support Missing
   Problem Location: android/src/main/kotlin/com/cuboid/open_mail/OpenMailAppPlugin.kt

The parseEmailContent() method (lines 251-292) completely ignores the attachments field from the JSON payload
The Android EmailContent data class (lines 300-306) doesn't include an attachments property
All compose intent methods (composeNewEmailAppIntent, composeNewEmailInSpecificEmailAppIntent) don't handle attachments when creating Intents
Root Cause: The Android plugin was designed to only handle basic email fields (to, cc, bcc, subject, body) but didn't implement attachment support, even though the Dart EmailContent model includes attachments.

2. iOS Implementation - Limited Attachment Support
   Problem Location: lib/src/src.dart in composeNewEmailInSpecificMailApp()

Apple Mail only: Attachment support exists only for Apple Mail (lines 416-424) using attachment parameters in mailto URI
Gmail and other apps: Fall back to basic mailto URLs without any attachment handling (lines 469-482)
The custom URL schemes for apps like Gmail don't include attachment parameters
Root Cause: iOS relies on custom URL schemes for third-party mail apps, but these schemes have limited or no attachment support compared to the more robust Apple Mail mailto implementation.

Why flutter_email_sender Worked But open_mail Doesn't
flutter_email_sender: Uses native Android Intent.ACTION_SEND with Intent.EXTRA_STREAM for attachments and iOS UIActivityViewController which has comprehensive attachment support
open_mail: Uses simpler Intent mechanisms and URL schemes that don't properly handle attachments across platforms
Technical Impact
The attachments are being correctly passed from Flutter code to the plugin, but the platform-specific implementations aren't processing or forwarding them to the email apps. This is why you see the attachment data in your logs but nothing appears in the email composition screens.

This requires significant platform-specific changes to properly handle attachments across different email apps and platforms.
