Limit sourced gig leads to co-op-relevant engineering, product, data, design, marketing, and ecommerce roles using job titles.
Report role mismatches per source and reject previously unreviewed off-topic leads on the next source sync. Manual restoration is preserved across later syncs.
Update the dashboard status panel, built bundle, and operator documentation.
After deployment, run Sync all once to clean up the existing pending queue.
Note
Medium Risk
Changes ingestion filters and auto-rejects pending rows in job_leads; safeguards limit scope to unreviewed/unstaged records, but a bad regex could drop valid leads until operators restore them.
Overview
Introduces a title-based co-op role gate across Himalayas, HN Who’s Hiring, a16z, and the Sequoia portfolio pilot so only engineering, product, data, design, marketing, and ecommerce roles are ingested. Off-topic titles are counted under a new irrelevant_role filter reason and tracked as irrelevant_external_ids during each scrape.
Each source sync now runs reject_unreviewed_irrelevant_job_leads after upserts, auto-rejecting still-pending, unstaged leads that fail the role check (or match the current scrape’s irrelevant IDs) while leaving reviewed, posted, and staged leads alone. Manual restores set relevance_override so later syncs do not re-reject them.
The admin dashboard scrape status card surfaces outside co-op roles in filter breakdowns and rejected_existing cleanup counts. Operator docs and the rebuilt dashboard static bundle are updated to match.

Job lead sources now filter listings by title-based role relevance and report those exclusions. Scrapes also reject existing pending, unreviewed off-topic leads unless an override is present. The scrape result and dashboard show role-filter and rejected-lead counts.

Summary
Filter source leads by role packages/shared/src/five08/job_lead_sources.py, tests/unit/test_job_lead_sources.py, docs/discord-gig-dashboard.md
The four source adapters apply a shared title predicate and report irrelevant-role exclusions. Tests cover included and excluded roles.
Scrapes reject pending, unreviewed off-topic leads without a relevance override. Reviewing a filtered rejected lead sets an override. Scrape results include the number rejected.

Some suitable roles can be omitted or rejected, concurrent staging can leave a rejected lead’s holding thread intact, and failed syncs can hide cleanup counts. These are bounded issues with recovery options; merging requires owner awareness of missed listings and manual restoration needs.

Check the override guard in the UPDATE.
If the UPDATE loses its override guard, this test still passes. The stub records SQL without executing it, and the test checks the guard only in the SELECT. Assert the UPDATE predicate too.
