I know that plumber is entering into maintenance mode, but I was wondering if there were any plans to make the _server.yml standard work with plumber APIs? It's not that it's difficult to hand roll, but it'd be nice to have the parity

There is no immediate business need for Posit to do this. However I like the cohesiveness of every package (and every version) having control on how it is started.

For example, having the _server.yml integration would allow for plumber to also work with the buoyant R package. It then opens the door to the next hosting environment to do the same.
