Make Http Endpoint json compatible with ActionMailbox #1698

I don't know what I'm talking about but it seems Action Mailbox is for incoming messages and Postals whole thing is enabling applications to send emails without having to understand how email works and letting the application know what is happening to the messages. Other software you have already highlighted seems more appropriate for the task of relaying messages in both directions. |

Thanks @willpower232 for the reply. Yes, but postal also has a feature for incoming mails. These incoming emails can be send as a webhook to various applications. |

I think it'll be great of a feature, where we can have a choice of formats/schemas that can mimic the webhook format of different major Ingress Providers like:
This Feature would be useful to use with other apps where the only choices are these major providers. Like @quorak mentioned "Chatwoot" in my case we had to use n8n to parse and reformat the message. And it brings another hop. |

Uh oh!

ActionMailbox is a great feature by rails that is used by a variety of projects.
Giving our Http Endpoint a possibility to make the json compatible with sendgrid format, would boost compatibility with many applications while minimizing efforts.
Easiest would be to use the sendgrid raw format:
https://docs.sendgrid.com/for-developers/parsing-email/setting-up-the-inbound-parse-webhook#example-raw-payload
https://guides.rubyonrails.org/action_mailbox_basics.html#sendgrid
https://github.com/rails/rails/blob/6-1-stable/actionmailbox/app/controllers/action_mailbox/ingresses/sendgrid/inbound_emails_controller.rb
For the time being, a quick one would also to use a postfix relay docker like:
