Thank you everyone who has used and contributed to pycomm3 over the years, unfortunately this library is no longer being actively developed.
I started working on pycomm3 for work and it became a bit of a hobby project, but in the years since with career changes and such, I no longer have the time to actively maintain it (and haven't for some time, but this post is long overdue). This repo will remain, but issues are unlikely to be addressed and new updates should not be expected.
Pull requests can still be submitted, but no guarantees on if/when they will be reviewed, merged, or new versions published to PyPI. Any changes should be thoroughly tested before being submitted since I no longer have access to the lab hardware to fully test everything.
Again, thanks to everyone who has used pycomm3, opened issues, submitted PRs, and helped me with this over the years. I appreciate all of the positive support I've received working on this and I would not have the career I have today without this project.
