show the contact name instead of the number in the notification about a missed call

[Schneeeulen]

With fossify phone and contacts installed the name of the contact who tried to phone you should be displayed in the notification instead of the raw number

See FossifyOrg/Phone#74 .

Thanks, but that’s not exactly the problem I’m having.
My contact has only one number saved and it’s displayed correctly in the call history, just not in the push notification.

I am sorry. I misunderstood your issue.
According to this issue, notification are handled by the system, not by the app. Is it possible that your contact is saved locally not visible to other apps?

[Schneeeulen]

Oh yes, that really was the reason.
Thanks for your help, and sorry for creating this unnecessary issue.
