Links can't be clicked because of edit-mode

Hi,
Today I wanted to join a teams meeting but it didn't work. When ever I was opening the appointment I was directly modifying the appointment. Because of this circumstance I was not possible to "use" the link. While I was driving I had to copy the link by hand and pasting it into my webbrowser. - Very disappointing!
