Feature Description

Currently, the Paragon Design System has three color sets: brand colors, core colors, and utility colors. We are proposing adding a fourth set of colors to be used in cases where a color set is desired to help distinguish between objects in a set. The colors in this set are ordered to maximize (as much as possible) distinguishability between neighboring colors for the most common color blindness types.

This is a Paragon related proposal, but wanted to create a ticket here to track the changes and give visibility into status.

With feedback from the Paragon WG, we've decided to adjust this proposal to give more clarity on accessible uses and best practices for this set of "label" colors.

A paragon PR has been made here and will be adjusted. For now this proposal is on hold.
