However, the project has a critical, unpatched architectural flaw located entirely within the community infrastructure layer: the entire moderation team.
It turns out that maintaining a mobile port of a 2013 Valve game instills a severe psychological side-effect across almost the entire admin roster. These individuals seem to genuinely believe that compiling C++ makes them elite cyber-deities running a Fortune 500 tech giant, rather than guys who managed to paste some code together to run Counter-Strike: Source on a phone.
The level of collective gatekeeping, fragile egos, and microscopic-penis energy radiating from the Discord server is off the charts. You ask a normal question about installation? Straight to the guillotine. You don't know a hyper-specific technical nuance? Prepare to be publicly mocked by a whole council of basement-dwelling hall monitors who finally found a tiny drop of power in their miserable lives.

Enter the community channel expecting a healthy open-source spirit of collaboration.
Dare to type a single message or ask a legitimate troubleshooting question.
Watch as the local "moderator elite" collectively crawls out of the woodwork like a pack of rabid hyenas to flex their non-existent authority, mocking you together to feel better about themselves.
Get treated like an absolute peasant by people whose only achievement in life is managing a chat room for stolen source code.
Expected Behavior:
A normal, welcoming open-source community where developers and users help each other enjoy classic games on mobile devices.
Actual Behavior:
A digital North Korea run by a squad of touch-starved autocrats who treat every newcomer like garbage to compensate for their absolute irrelevance in the real world.
Proposed Fix / Patch Notes:
Instantly strip all admin privileges from the entire toxic roster.
Mandatory, synchronized sudo touch_grass --force protocol for all moderators.
Recompile the server rules to include basic human decency and professional behavior.
Until this critical bug is fixed, the code is fine, but the human garbage surrounding it ruins the entire experience. Keep up the programming, but please, for the love of God, replace your entire admin team with literally anyone who has seen a tree outside.

Direct messaging admins or nillerusr? Come on, that’s like reporting police brutality to the officer who hit you. Complaining to power-tripping mods in DMs gets you ignored or banned on the spot, so public visibility here was the only option.
And yeah, GitHub Issues are meant to report stuff that ruins the user experience. A community culture that actively mocks and drives people away is a massive bug for any project. As for the tone - you just match the energy you get. When mods treat regular users like trash for years, they can’t expect polite formal letters when someone finally calls them out.

No, nillerusr is fine, his work on this engine is top-tier and I have zero issues with him. My issue is strictly with a few power-tripping admins who act like complete toxicity is a feature, not a bug.
And why post it here instead of DMs? Because DMs to staff get ignored, deleted, or end in a ban—that’s literally how power-tripping works. Public visibility is the only way to actually point out that a few bad mods are ruining the reputation of a great project.
It’s not about "stirring up drama," it’s about holding the community side of this repo accountable. You can keep deflecting about where people should complain, but the problem with the mods remains real.
