Prepare settings, caching and SqLite connections on application startup

Description

There's only one thing keeping us from implementing the database: the database implementation itself.

We now have the settings and cache services done: we need to get that SqLite connection set up!

That's the goal for these next coding sessions. Afterwards, we test it until it's possible to test it anymore.

Tasks

• Implement all required SqLite functionality
• Join SqLite functionality with the existing settings and cache services
• Close Implement database caching and settings associated with it #31
• Avoid erroring out when no connection
• Deal with first-time application uses
• Heavily test the solution to this issue
