Hi simpulse developers:
I am a data editor for the AAS Journals. I've noticed this package being used in many recent papers, but -- beyond the occasional (but not ubiquitous) footnote to this GitHub codebase -- there is no means to properly attribute your work. There have been 14 such papers in the past six years, with some choosing to cite Merryfield et al. (2023).
Do you have a preferred method for attribution? I could suggest common options if you want to talk about it. I want to be able to recommend this preferred method to authors of submission to our journals, but that would work for any form of publication, not just ours.
Thanks,
Gus
