This is a very specific use-case but might be useful.
Some games, like The Hulk, link to archives that contain files for many other games, whether it's executables or hints/walkthroughs.
IFDB can say which file is "interesting" using the "Contains" hint, but the user still has to click through and manually locate the specific file.
Maybe there should be a checkbox that says the contained file should be the main thing linked, and that the archive should only be a secondary link, so instead of "Contains" it should say "View archive".
