After I make edits to a game page in dev environment, the cover art breaks

If I...

• Open the Anchorhead page in the dev environment.
• Click "Edit this page."
• Change the author name.
• Save changes.
• Click "Edit this page."
• Change the title.
• Save changes.

...the cover art thumbnail on the viewgame page becomes a broken image. The cover art in the "Related Games" section also looks broken.

I tried this on my "main" branch with no code changes, and the cover art still broke.

I noticed this too but had no idea what action caused it to happen :)

When developing locally, all image requests are redirected to the real website. When editing a game locally, it advances the version number, and then it asks ifdb.org for the image belonging to a page version it might not have.

I suggest changing the production cover art code so if it sees a version number larger than it knows about, it will return the latest version.

Can you think of any unintended consequences?
