OpenMausBot Contributor License Agreement

This agreement covers contributions to the enterprise/ directory of the OpenMausBot repository, which is licensed under the OpenMausBot Enterprise License rather than Apache 2.0. Contributions anywhere else do not require this agreement or a DCO sign-off (see LICENSING.md).

You sign by commenting on your pull request:

I have read the CLA Document and I hereby sign the CLA

It applies to every contribution you make to enterprise/ from then on. It is modelled on the Apache Individual Contributor License Agreement, shortened.

  1. Copyright license. You grant Milind Soni ("the Project Owner") and recipients of software distributed by the Project Owner a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, no-charge, royalty-free, irrevocable license to reproduce, prepare derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, sublicense, and distribute your contribution and such derivative works, under any license, including the OpenMausBot Enterprise License and the Apache License 2.0.
  2. Patent license. You grant the same parties a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, no-charge, royalty-free, irrevocable patent license to make, have made, use, offer to sell, sell, import, and otherwise transfer the work, for patent claims you can license that are necessarily infringed by your contribution alone or by its combination with the work it was submitted to.
  3. You may grant this. You are legally entitled to grant the above. If your employer has rights to intellectual property you create, you have permission to make the contribution on its behalf, or it has waived those rights for the contribution.
  4. Original work. Each contribution is your original creation. If it includes work that is not yours, you identify it and its license in the pull request.
  5. No obligation, no warranty. The Project Owner is not obliged to use your contribution. You provide it as is, without warranty of any kind, and you are not required to support it.
  6. You keep your rights. This is a license, not an assignment. You remain the owner of your contribution and may use it for any other purpose.
