how to configure port to run in docker container

im new to react and i want to try this application out in docker. how can i change the default url to run of a known port to expose to a docker network?

Hi @laurencefass. If you just run make install on the local environment and wait for it to complete, you'll be able to access your application on http://app.docker.localhost domain.

i wont have app.docker.localhost defined on my host machine. to run in docker i need to expose a port (not a url) so i can expose it onto a docker network through a docker-compose file. Urls are assigned by the host. Or I'm open to any recommendations for running and exposing through a docker container.
