Describe the solution you'd like

add ability to show bold text as bold or in different "brighter" color, eg white

this might break some styles but previously this was shown like that

Note: Use this to test:

printf '\e[31mnon-bold red \e[1;31mbold red\n'
printf '\e[30mnon-bold black \e[1;31mbold black\n'

My biggest issue is that the "bold black" that used to display is now invisible.
