VM provisioning falied.

i have set up cloudstack on my on-prem server with management server and host on same server. While provisioning VM it fails immediately giving the below error.

No destination found for a deployment for VM instance {"id":22,"instanceName":"i-2-22-VM","state":"Stopped","type":"User","uuid":"5cc42ccd-11d3-4fa4-b2e6-3bf448cb262c"}

i have checked there is sufficient space (primary, secondary storage)

What could be the issue ??

Hosts with tag '' are:[]

can you check the service offering in the database or on UI ? maybe the service offering has a empty string as tag

mysql> select id,name,host_tag from service_offering;

if host_tag is a emtry string, change it to NULL

update service_offering set host_tag=NULL where host_tag = "";

Hi @weizhouapache , the issue is resolved.

Earlier i thought scheduler might pick up the correct pod, cluster and hence i was keeping those fields empty while provisioning the Instance. After i filled them the instance got provisioned.

Now that instance has been provisioned, i am facing a new issue where i am not able to ssh it. (nor able to ping it)
I will create a seperate discussion for that though..
