Please add smooth scrolling to View Transitions plugin

Feature Description

As simple as a checkbox with smooth scrolling behaviour for the whole site

   scroll-behavior:smooth!important;
}

could make this plugin way better.

Please make it real :)

Thanks for the suggestion. The Twenty Twenty theme includes this style, as I recall. While it can be a nice experience, I also find it irritating at times.

I'm not sure if is appropriate for View Transitions.

You can always just add it to your site's custom CSS.

I have 2025 theme doesn't have that style and i added by CSS

I still find for many to be a great transition effect that could be an option INSIDE VIew Transitions

Please reconsider adding it. So the plugin manages all kind of transitions
