The loading process of the new version is extremely slow. Previously, the old version 3.0.1 loaded very quickly. Could you please provide me with a download link for version 3.0.1? I purchased the core edition version.

I tried the trial version and found that version 3.4.0 had some issues, which would cause the video loading to be extremely slow. However, other versions loaded much faster.

Can you provide us with the video asset you are seeing the slower loading on @VDiva ? Or is it maybe coming off a server? Or streamed off a server? You can send it to unitysupport@renderheads.com with the subject 'Issue 2480' if you wish to keep it private.

I'm using local videos, and all of them load slowly. This probably isn't related to the video files themselves, since I can't download versions prior to 3.4.0 through Unity. I tried other versions besides the trial version 3.4.0, and none of them exhibited slow loading when opening a video—instead, they all loaded smoothly.

We are not seeing slow down here, and have not had any other reports of this issue. So we would like a video that you are seeing as 'slow' so we have something we know is being problematic. Can you send one over?

Can you confirm this issue is on the Windows standalone (or in the editor) platform?

If you disable any/all of these options according to need, you might see an increase in video open speed (only applicable when using the MediaFoundation API):

Ok, we can reproduce it here now. Only seems to affect MediaFoundation API. We will look into what change might have caused this. But for now, if you do not need it, it seems to be specifically the 'Use Stereo Detection' flag that is causing the slower opening. Recommend you disable that flag.
