First of all, I would like to express my sincere gratitude for your excellent work on this project. I have learned a lot from studying your code and it has been a great help to my own learning journey.
During my testing, I believe I have encountered a potential issue and I would like to report it here. I hope my finding can be of some help to the project. As shown in the figure below, to delete the PPL flag, it is not necessary to delete 4 bytes, only 3 bytes are needed Deleting an extra byte may result in unexpected consequences.
