I would love this feature too ! |

The bulk of the original Nividia crew would love this too since they more than likely have the Joystick that has the built in Mic. I have actually had this work by pluggin in a headset into the mic. It actually works but the joystick mic does not. |

I'll add my vote to have this in-scope: it would allow me to throw my noisy computer into the basement. |

Does anyone know if there has been any movement on this feature request? |

+1 for this, still really want it in 2026. My setup is a Steam Deck streaming from my Windows PC with Moonlight/MoonDeck, and for voice chat I've had to hack together my own thing: ffmpeg on the Deck sending raw PCM over UDP to a little Python receiver on the PC that plays it into VB-Cable, all kicked off through Having Sunshine expose a virtual mic on the host and take the client's mic over the existing stream connection would replace all of that. I know there were a few PRs for this (LizardByte/Sunshine#4078, LizardByte/Sunshine#4900, LizardByte/Sunshine#4901) that got closed without merging, and moonlight-stream/moonlight-common-c#123 is open for the protocol side. Is this something you'd be open to if someone picked those back up? Happy to test on Windows with a Deck as the client. |
Uh oh!

I'm curious if in-game microphone support will be considered
being added to the roadmap?
