But that's the shader for OpenGL, not for Vulkan. Not sure how you made Vulkan try to load that.

Then you have something very strange going on in your project. glsl-files normally don't end up in the build-dir when you compile for Vulkan.

Interestingly, if I explicitly tell it -g vulkan, it starts to build spirv shaders

Fixed, forgot to update the defaults for Linux and Android. Thanks for reporting it, looks like nobody else was using Kha on Linux with default-options for the whole month of February.
