My env is Win7/32bit/JDK1.7.0/Neo203

First issue your doc might want to point out, download neo4j ZIP to get the neoshell as the .exe installer doesn't include it. I'm a newbie, not obvious why the zip/exe differ

Then finally got the installation up and running in my new test db directory.

Tried the following to generate your graph:

Neo4jShell.bat -file GraphofThings.cyp

which runs for enough time to generate probably over hundred entries and then fails with the following. Fresh neo install and first time running your script so I have no idea how to proceed.

I'm happy to never go near Windows but I'm stuck with it, I didn't see any O/S specifics in your readme so it wasn't obvious other than the unix example commands.

My next attempt based on your suggestions (is cpl/cyp the same?)

     Neo4j.bat -file GraphofThings.cyp 

This command is not supported by the Neo4j utility. Please try "Neo4j.bat help" for more info.
For installing Neo4j as a Windows Service, see Neo4jInstaller.bat

     Neo4j.bat help

Proper arguments for this command are: help console

     Neo4j.bat help console

Proper arguments for this command are: help console ( I gather 'console' is not literal)

Even Neo4j's own README has this:

"For details about using these scripts, please see the related
documentation in the ../doc directory."

and there is no doc directory in either distro so I guess they're more interested in unix platforms too.
