Problem Description

When browsing a channel's videos or a large playlist, it can be difficult to quickly find content based on its duration.

For example, I may only have a few minutes and want to watch a short video, or I may specifically be looking for long-form content such as podcasts, documentaries, or lectures. Currently, this requires manually scanning the duration of every video.

Proposed Solution

Add a "Duration" sorting option alongside the existing sorting methods.

Suggested sorting options:

  • Shortest → Longest
  • Longest → Shortest

The feature could be available wherever the current sorting options are shown (channel videos, playlists, subscriptions, etc.).

Alternatives Considered

The only current alternative is to manually look through the list and compare the duration of each video, which becomes impractical for large playlists or channels with many uploads.
