Join us for Nostr Atlanta! Calling all nostr users, content creators, enthusiasts, developers, and more!
We're trying a Lunch & Learn! Either bring a bag lunch or we'll do a DoorDash together. Suggest topics to Andrew in the ATL BitLab Discord.
What is Nostr?
A simple way to think of nostr is as a censorship-resistant social media protocol. Instead of social media being owned by large tech giants, it can be a free and open protocol, the way email is. Nostr is also being used for much more than social media, with relays and public-key cryptography giving users control over their own data.
Agenda
- 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM - Eat lunch and loose presentation/discussion of Nostr topics
Potential Topics
- How to start using nostr for newbies
- Nostr Implementation Possibilities (NIPs)
- Nostr client updates
- Nostr relay updates
- Show-and-tell
- How somebody rebuilt {whatever} using nostr
Location
